In this four part workshop we delve into the meaning of mindfulness and the mental and physical benefits of slowing down and paying attention. Learn how we can train to be more mindful in every area of life, including how we eat, walk, meditate, and how we face life’s challenges.
Each session will present a highlighted component of mindful living and provide practical applications to bring these concepts to life in the day to day. Evenings conclude with gentle asana (yoga postures) to compliment the day’s themes and further connect mind and body. All keys to a meaningful Life!
Concepts presented by yoga student and dear friend of Greenhouse, USM Professor of Psychology, Randy Arnau. Yoga guided by Greenhouse Yoga’s delightful and compassionate teacher, Susan Bone.
We encourage you to participate in the workshop as a whole and spend time on the optional homework assignments between workshop sessions for personal development. If you can’t commit to the series, pop in to one or more classes as a drop in!
Bring a notebook, a yoga mat and a curious mind!
